Abstract

Abstract This invention relates to a paper manufacturing process which comprises drying the formed web against a heated surface, such as present on a Yankee drier, and in particular to the improvement which comprises incorporating in said web before said drying, in an amount sufficient to achieve uniform adhesion to and release from said heated surface, a water-dispersible repulpable polyamide polyamine resin containing at least two primary amine groups and at least one secondary or tertiary amine group such as the polyamide which results from the reaction of diethylene triamine with isopthalic acid.
