Abstract
Abstract The specification discloses a cable package or dispenser for army telephone cable, comprising a cable coil with a hollow center, two annular side members of strong, flexible material and a belt of strong, flexible material overlying the outer periphery of the coil. Holes are provided at the outer periphery of the side members, which are kept tightly together by a lacing extending through the holes and overlying the belt.

A package for a cable coil having a central opening, comprising two annular side members of flexible material, each side member having flap members attached to its periphery in peripheral spaced relation, each of said flap members having a lace receiving means adjacent their unattached end, an elongated belt member disposed around and substantially covering the periphery of the cable coil, said flap members of each side member overlying said belt in offset relation to each other, and a lacing threaded through said lace receiving means of the flap members and keeping the side members tightly together in a closed package.
