Abstract TRANSMISSION FLUID COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING AN OXYALKYLATED TERITARY AMINE AND A SUBSITUTED IMIDAZOLINE AND A POLYALKENYL SUBSTITUTED SUCCINIMIDE DISPERSANT HAVE EXCELLENT FLUID FRICTION CHARACTERISTICS AND OXIDATION STABILITY THROUGH THE INTERACTION OF THE OXYALKYLATED TERTIARY AMINE AND THE SUBSTITUTED IMIDAZOLINE, NOT ONLY IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE THE SHAPE OF THE FRICTION CURVE, BUT IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE TO ATTTAIN THE MOST DESIRABLE LEVELS OF STATIC AND KINETIC FRICTION.
