Abstract
Abstract A basin for testing the effect of a marine platform or similar marine structure characterized by providing a long basin, a waveforming means provided at one end of said long basin, a wave damper at the other end thereof, a water circulation channel extending along the outside of said basin to communicate with the bottom of each end of said basin in the proximity of each end, a water-feeding means to move the water in said channel in at least one direction and thereby to produce a stream or current as desired in the water in said basin.
