Abstract A photopolymer resist composition comprising (A) an ethylenically unsaturated compound containing at least one polymerizable ethylenic group (CH2 C ) capable of forming a high polymer by photoinitiated addition polymerization; (B) a thermoplastic organic polymer binder and (C) a photoactivatable addition polymerization initiator provides improved adhesion to a solid support in aqueous plating solutions when the composition includes a small amount of a compound having the formula
