Abstract ENERGY IS GENERATED IN A GAS CYCLE BY ESTABLISHING A REFRIGERATION CYCLE BY MECHANICAL COMPRESSION OF A COLDPRODUCING FLUID AND BY LOWERING THE COLD SOURCE TEMPERATURE OF THE GAS CYCLE BY HEAT EXCHANGE WITH THE COLDPRODUCING FLUID. THE APPARATUS PROVIDED FOR THIS PROCESS INCLUDES A REFRIGERATING MACHINE FOR COMPRESSION OF THE COLD-PRODUCING FLUID AND MEANS FOR PERFORMING A HEAT EXCHANGE BETWEEN THE SAME AND THE WORKING FLUID.
