Abstract

Abstract A magnetic alloy consisting essentially of less than 30 weight percent of cobalt, less than 30 weight percent of iron, less than 5 weight percent of a metal selected from the group consisting of copper and molybdenum, and the balance being essentially nickel and cores made therewith. The alloy has a Curie point greater than 620* C. and excellent rectangular hysteresis loop characteristics, such as, a Br/B10 value greater than about 90 percent.
