Abstract
Abstract A tubular drinking straw having at least a portion of an exposed wall formed of a water insoluble hydrophilic acrylate or methacrylate polymer. A water soluble flavoring agent is dispersed within the polymer and passes by way of the polymer to flavor the liquid in which the straw is placed.
