Abstract WIRE AND CABLE STRIPPING APPARATUS HAVING CUTTERS WHICH ARE ROTATED AROUND THE WIRE AND ARE PIVOTED, THE CUTTERS BEING AXIALLY DISPLACEABLE ALONG THE DIRECTION OF THE CABLE TO TAKE THEM AGAINST AN ANVIL TO PIVOT THEM TO AN OPERATIVE CUTTING POSITION, AND STOPS BEING PROVIDED TO LIMIT THE DEGREE OF PIVOTING AND HENCE THE DEPTH OF THE CUT INTO THE CABLE.
