Abstract 4,6-DIARYL-1,3-DIAZABICYCLO (3.1.0) HEX-3-ENES ARE MADE BY REACTING TRANS-2-ARYL-3-AROYLAZIRIDINES WITH ALDEHYDES AND KETONES IN AMMONIACAL ALCOHOL. The new compounds and their acid addition salts are photochromic.
