Abstract
Abstract This invention relates to the production of isocyanate polymers. Xylylene omega , omega ''-diisocyanate trimers are produced that are devoid of 1-nylon-type polymers. Xylylene omega , omega ''diisocyanate is contacted with a trimerization catalyst and a 1nylon-formation suppressor selected from acid amides, acid imides, ureides, thioureides or mixtures thereof.
