Abstract APPARATUS FOR MOUNTING A PIN ON A CIRCUIT BOARD IN WHICH THE PIN IS FED TO A POSITION IN APPROXIMATE ALIGNMENT WITH A PUNCH, FOLLOWING WHICH THE PIN IS ALIGNED ACCURATELY WITH THE PUNCH BY A PAIR OF CLAMPS AND THE PUNCH IS MOVED TOWARD THE PIN TO PICK UP THE PIN. THE CLAMPS OPEN AND FURTHER MOVEMENT OF THE PUNCH SECURES THE PIN TO THE CIRCUIT BOARD.
