Abstract SUSPENDED ORGANIC MATTER IS CONTINUOUSLY REMOVED FROM SEWAGE IN A MOVING BED FILTER IN WHICH WASTE WATER FLOW COUNTERCURRENT TO A COMPACT MOVING BED OF A PARTICULAR FILTER MEDIUM SUCH AS SAND.
