Abstract
Abstract AN ELECTROLYTIC CELL COMPRISING A TANK HAVING A CLOSED TOP AND AN OPEN BOTTOM. AN ANODE CLOSURE PLATE EXTENDS OVER THE BOTTOM OF THE TANK TO FORM THE BOTTOM WALL OF THE CELL. A PLURALITY OF VERTICALLY POSITIONED ANODES ARE SECURED TO THE CLOSURE PLATE AND ARE SPACED TO RECEIVE A CATHODE MEMBER BETWEEN ADJACENT PAIRS OF ANODES. THE ELECTRODES ARE MOUNTED IN THE CELL IN A MANNER SUCH THAT THEY ARE COMPLETELY SUBMERGED IN ELECTROLYTE IN THE CELL.
