Abstract

Abstract A photoconductor cell having substantially flat response to light intensities over a large portion of the visible spectrum is disclosed. The photoconductor cell comprises a sandwich construction of a heavily doped semiconductor film, a transparent electrode forming a rectifying junction with the front face of the semiconductor film, and a metal back electrode forming an injecting contact with the back face of the semiconductor film.
