Abstract A MIXTURE OF A VINYL CONTAINING POLYDIORGANOSILOXANE, RHSICL2, AN ALKOXYLATED SILICON COMPOUND AND AN ORGANIC PEROXIDE IS DISCLOSED. THE MIXTURE CURES TO AN ELASTOMER AFTER RECEIVING AN INITIAL HEATING STEP AND EXPOSURE TO MOISTURE. THE MIXTURE IN THE ABSENCE OF MOISTURE AND AFTER THE INITIAL HEATING STEP IS STABLE AND DOES NOT CURE. A METHOD OF VULCANIZING THE ABOVE MIXTURE IS ALSO DISCLOSED.
