Abstract A FINE AQUEOUS DISPERSION OF A PHENOILIC BACTERIOSTATIC AGENT SUCH AS HEXACHLOROPHENE, WITH THE ADDITION OF ZIRCONIUM ACETATE AND A CELLULOSE CROSS-LINKING AGENT, IS CURED ONTO A CELLULOSIC FABRIC. THE RESULTING BACTERIOSTATIC FINISH IS DURABLE THROUGH TWICE AS MANY LAUDERINGS AS A FINISH OMITTING THE CROSS-LINKING AGENT.
