Abstract A BEARING HAVING A RELIEF IN THE OUTER EXTERIOR CYLINDRICAL SURFACE CIRCUMFERENTIALLY AROUND THE RACE IN THE AREA BENEATH THE ROLLING ELEMENT SUPPORTING AREA OF THE RACEWAY, AND HAVING TWO CIRCUMFERENTIAL GROOVES WHICH LIE ON EITHER SIDE OF THE RELIEVED PORTION IN THE RACE OF THE BEARING.
