Abstract

Abstract A fire protection system for wetting the exterior surface of a building structure to prevent ignition of the structure by a fire in the vicinity of the structure. The protection system embodies a unique recirculating water system for directing water over both the roof and sidewalls of the structure and an automatic fire detection and control system for activating the water system in response to a fire and terminating operation of the water system when the fire is extinguished.
