Abstract MEANS FOR AND METHOD OF PROVIDING THE SURFACE OF AN OBJECT, SUCH AS A WOODEN, PAPERBOARD OR METAL PANEL, WITH A PRINTED PATTERN, SUCH AS ARTIFICAL WOOD GRAIN. THE MEANS INCLUDE AN ADHESIVE FILM WHICH HAS A DESIRED PATTERN PRINTED ON ONE SIDE THEREOF. THE METHOD INCLUDES THE STEPS OF PROVIDING AN ADHESIVE FILM WITH A PRINTED PATTERN AND LAMINATING A PLASTIC SHEET ONTO THE SURFACE OF THE OBJECT WITH THE ADHESIVE FILM.
