Abstract
Abstract An amplifying circuit made up of a plurality of individual amplifying stages, each of which may have at least three elements. Each of the amplifying stages have a common input and a common output and the stages are so biased that each amplifying stage conducts for a different portion of the input cycle. Although the output wave form is the same as if only a single stage were used, by providing a plurality of stages, each of which conducts for only a portion of the input cycle, a substantially more efficient power amplifier is provided.
