Abstract

Abstract POURABILITY OF POLYMERS OF VINYL MONOMERS IS IMPROVED BY CATALYTIC VAPOR PHASE POLYMERIZATION OF VINYL MONOMERS IN THE ABSENCE OF SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNTS OF SOLVENT OR DILUENT AND IN THE PRESENCE OF CERTAIN POURABILITY MODIFIERS, WHICH MAY ALSO IMPROVE THE COLOR OF THE PRODUCT POLYMER. THE POURABILITY OF POLYMERS FORMED BY LIQUID PHASE BULK POLYMERIZATION OF VINYL MONOMERS CAN BE IMPROVED BY THESE MODIFIERS.
