Abstract THIS INVENTION RELATES TO WAX COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING AN ACID COMPONENT AND AN THYLENE-ISOBUTYLACRYLATE COPOLYMER. THESE COMPOSITIONS HAVE HIGHLY IMPROVED RESISTANC TO STRESS CRACKING, AND IMPROVED BREAK ENERGY AND FILM TOUGHNESS. THEY CAN BE UTILIZED AS HOT MELT COATINGS FOR ITEMS SUCH AS PAPERBOARD AND CORRUGATED BOARD FOR USE IN THE FOOD PACKAGING INDUSTRY.
