Abstract
Abstract DESCRIBED IS A SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING THE BUILD-UP OF A COATING ON CONTACT ROLLS OVER WHICH STRIP MATERIAL PASSES IN AN ELECTROLYTIC COATING PROCESS. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY A PROCESS OF DE-PLATING WHEREIN THE COATING IS REMOVED ELECTROLYTICALLY FROM THE CONTACT ROLLS BY A REVERSE CURRENT AND DEPOSITED IN AN EASILY CLEANED PAN.
