Abstract A MACHINE IS DISCLOSED FOR FOLDING BOX BLANKS ALONG A FOLD LINE AND INTERCONNECTING THE END PANELS OF THE BOX BLANK BY GLUING OR TAPING. MEANS ARE PROVIDED TO PERMIT ADJUSTMENT OF A CONTACT MEMBER WHILE THE MACHINE IS RUNNING SO THAT THE CONTACT MEMBER ENGAGES THE BLANK AT SUBSTANTIALLY THE SAME DISTANCE FROM A FOLD LINE TO AVOID BLANK DISTORTION. MEANS ARE PROVIDED FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY OPERATING POSITIONING MEANS AT SPACED POINTS ALONG THE CONTACT MEMBER WHILE THE MACHINE IS RUNNING SO THAT THE OPTIMUM POSITION FOR FOLDING THE BLANK MAY BE ACHIEVED.
