Abstract SHELVING UNITS ARE MOVABLE ALONG GUIDE RAILS BETWEEN SELECTED END PORTIONS BY MEANS OF A LEVER SWINGABLY MOUNTED ON A SIDE OF EACH UNIT AND HAVING A LOWER END PORTION ENGAGEABLE WITH SELECTED, VARIABLY POSITIONABLE ABUTMENTS PROJECTING LATERALLY FROM ONE OF THE RAILS AND AN UPPER END PORTION PROVIDING A HAND GRIP FOR SWINGING THE LEVER ABOUT ITS PIVOT TO MOVE THE UNIT BY A LEVERAGE ACTION. THE PIVOT POINT OF THE LEVER IS ADJUSTABLE ALONG THE LEVER TO PROVIDE VARIABLE LEVERAGE.
