Abstract A BOWLING GLOVE FOR USE BY A PERSON WHILE PARTICIPATING IN THE SPORT OF BOWLING, AS AN AID TO HIM IN HIS ENDEAVOR TO DEVELOP SKILL OR CONTROL OF THE BOWLING BALL. THE BOWLING GLOVE INCLUDES A REMOVABLE RIGID DTIFFENER PIECE WHICH FITS INTO A POCKET ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE GLOVE AND SUBSTANTIALLY KEEPS THE BOWLER''S WRIST STRAIGHT. THE PALM SIDE OF THE GLOVE INCLUDES A BULBOUS PAD ENCLOSED IN A POCKET SITUATED OVER THE HEEL OF THE HAND AND ADAPTED TO REST AGAINST THE BOWLING BALL AND PROVIDES THE BEGINNING WITH A BETTER FEEL OR GRIP ON THE BOWLING BALL.
