Abstract THERMOPLASTIC ACRYLIC POLYMER COMPOSITIONS PREPARED IN MULTI-STAGE EMULSION FASHION ARE PROVIDED. FOR EXAMPLE, THE POLYMER PARTICLES HAVE RUBBERY, CROSS-LINKED CORES OF ALKYL ACRYLATES AT LEAST PARTIALLY SHEATHED BY INCREASING LY HARDER THERMOPLASTIC COPOLYMER SHEATHS OF ALKYL ACRYLATES AND ALKYL METHACRYLATES WITH SOME PENETRATION BETWEEN THE LAYERS. THE COMPOSITIONS MAY BE EXTRUDED, BLOWN AND/OR FORMED INTO FILM OR SHEET.
