Abstract

Abstract An auxiliary air intake for combustion engines which responds to pressure differentials between an air intake conduct of the engine and the atmosphere. The auxiliary air intake admits sufficient air to substantially completely burn hydrocarbons present in the fuel-air mixture in the engine intake conduct and which would otherwise be exhausted into the atmosphere where they form undesirable pollutants.
