Abstract A METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR THE CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION OF HOLLOW BODIES THAT ARE ENCLOSED IN FOAMABLE SUBSTANCES SUCH AS POLYURETHANE, WHERE A CORE TUBE (12) IS COATED WITH FOAMABLE MATERIAL INSIDE A COVERING TUBE (1) THAT IS SLIT OPEN IN LONGITUDINAL DIRECTION, AND THE OPEN COVERING TUBE IS SHAPED AROUND THE FOAMED MATERIAL TO CONSTITUTE A CLOSED TUBULAR BODY.
