Abstract THE PROCESSABILITY AND IMPACT STRENGTH OF CHLORINATED POLYVINYL CHLORIDE ALONE OR IN COMBINATION WITH POLYVINYL CHLORIDE ARE IMPROVED BY THE ADDITION OF A COPOLYMER OF ETHYLENE AND AN ALKYL ESTER OF ACRYLIC ACID OR A SUBSTITUTION DERIVATIVE OF ACRYLIC ACID. FURTHER IMPROVEMENT IN IMPACT STRENGTH IS OBTAINED BY THE FURTHER ADDITION ALSO OF CERTAIN MODIFYING AGENTS WHICH ARE GRAFT COPOLYMERS BASED ON DIOLEFIN POLYMERS OR CERTAIN TWO OR THREE COMPONENT INTERPOLYMERS.
