Abstract
Abstract A filter system for control of out gas contamination of equipment assemblies in the space environment. components subject to out-gassing are enclosed in a sealed container vented externally through a filter having absorbent beds of a molecular sieve zeolite, silica gel and charcoal. Contamination of exposed optical surfaces with deposits derived from out gas fragments is prevented by this means.
