Abstract A CONTINUOUS PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A LAMINATE COMPRISES CONTINUOUSLY BRINGING A LAYER OF A NON-MAGNETIC METAL INTO CONTACT WITH A LAYER OF A THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL AND PRESSING THE LAYERS TOGETHER, THE METAL LAYER BEING HEATED BY MEANS OF AN INDUCED RADIO FREQUENCY CURRENT TO A TEMPERATURE SUFFICIENT TO CAUSE THE THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL TO SOFTEN AND THUS ADHERE TO THE METAL.
