Abstract THIS APPLICATION RELATES TO BINDER COMPOSITIONS FOR TREATING FIBROUS GLASS. THE COMPOSITIONS CONTAIN A FILMFORMING ORGANIC COMPOUND, A COUPLING AGENT (I.E., A METAL COMPLEX, A SILANE OR A SILOXANE) AND A HYDROLYTICALLY STABLE SILOXANE-OXYLALKYLENE COPOLYMER. THE BLOCK COPOLYMER FUNCTIONS BOTH AS AN ANTISTATIC AGENT AND AS A LUBRICANT FOR THE GLASS FIBERS. MIXTURES CONTAINING ONLY THE COUPLING AGENT AND THE BLOCK COPOLYMER ARE CLAIMED AS WELL AS THE ABOVE-MENTIONED COMPOSITIONS AND A PROCESS FOR TREATING GLASS FIBERS THEREWITH.
