Abstract A COLLAPSIBLE HOUSING FORMED FROM A NUMBER OF HINGEDLY INTERCONNECTED, GENERALLY RIGID WALLS WHEREIN THE WALLS ARE ARRANGED FOR MOVEMENT RELATIVE TO EACH OTHER FROM RESPECTIVE COLLAPSED POSITIONS WITH THE WALLS IN A STACK TO EXPANDED POSITIONS WITH THE WALLS ARRANGED TO FORM THE HOUSING. THE HOUSING HAS AN END WALL WHICH MOVES INTO AN OPERATIVE POSITION CLOSING ONE END OF THE HOUSING WHEN THE LATTER IS EXPANDED. ANOTHER END WALL CAN BE USED TO CLOSE THE OPPOSITE END OF THE HOUSING. THE INVENTION IS SUITABLE FOR USE AS A CARGO CONTAINER FOR AIRPLANES.
