Abstract IMPROVED STEERING, TRANSMISSION AND IGNITION LOCK APPARATUS FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE STEERING COLUMN INCLUDING TWO LOCKING PIVOTABLE MEMBERS AND KEEPER MEMBERS LOCATED, RESPECTIVELY, ON THE STEERING SHAFT AND THE SHIFT TUBE. A SINGLE CONTROL MECHANISM OPERATES THE MOVEMENTS OF BOTH MEMBERS AS WELL AS AN IGNITION SWITCH. THE THREE LOCKING COMPONENTS ARE ALL LOCATED WITHIN A HOUSING ON THE STEERING COLUMN.
