Abstract MIRRORS HAVING REFLECTING SURFACES OF METALLISED FLEXIBLE PLASTIC FILM ARE DISCLOSED, IN WHICH THE FILM IS SECURED TO A RIGID BACKING MEMBER BY HAVING ITS PERIPHERAL PORTION TRAPPED IN A CHANNEL EXTENDING AROUND THE BACKING MEMBER BY MEANS OF A DEFORMABLE STRIP OF RESILIENT MATERIAL WHICH IS FORCED INTO THE CHANNEL AND HELD THERE UNDER COMPRESSION.
