Abstract AN ARMCHAIR FOR DENTAL TREATMENT WHICH COMPRISES A FRAME WHICH, IN ADDITION TO THE NORMAL ARTICULATION PERMITTING THE FORWARD AND BACKWARD MOVEMENT OF THE BACKREST PORTION, IS PROVIDED WITH MEANS PERMITTING A SECOND ARTICULATION OF THE BRACKREST PORTION AT RIGHT ANGLES TO THE NORMAL ARTICULATION. THUS THE INVENTIVE CHAIR ALLOWS AN INCLINED LATERAL MOVEMENT OF THE UPPER PART OF THE PATIENT''S BODY WITHOUT SUBSTANTIALLY ALTERING THE POSITIONING OF THE REST OF HIS BODY.
