A SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING THE INPUTS TO A STEAM BOILER SUPPLYING STEAM THROUGH A TURBINE CONTROL VALVE TO A TURBINE UNDER VARYING LOAD CONDITIONS FOR SAID TURBINE, COMPRISING MEANS FOR DEVELOPING A SIGNAL RELATED TO THE RATIO OF THE PRESSURE AT A PARTICULAR STAGE IN SAID TURBINE AND THE PRESSURE UPSTREAM OF SAID VALVE, AND MEANS OPERABLE IN RESPONSE TO SAID SIGNAL FOR VARYING THE INPUTS TO SAID BOILER IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH.
