AN ATOMIZER COMPRISING A DIAPHRAGM, MEANS FOR SUPPORTING THE PERIPHERAL EDGE OF THE DIAPHRAGM, A FIRST AND SECOND PASSAGE FORMED IN SAID MEANS, ONE OF SAID PASSAGES BEING AT A CONTROLLED AIR PRESSURE GREATER THAN THE OTHER SO AS TO CAUSE THE DIAPHRAGM TO ALTERNATELY RAISE AWAY FROM AND TOWARDS THE OTHER PASSAGE AT THE RESONANT FREQUENCY OF THE DIAPHRAGM, AND MEANS FOR DEPOSITING A LIQUID ON SAID DIAPHRAGM TO BE ATOMIZED BY THE MOVEMENT OF THE DIAPHRAGM.
