IN A PRE-SETTABLE CONTROL MECHANISM FOR LIQUID DISPENSING APPARATUS HAVING FLOW CONTROL MEANS AND A REGISTER, THE COMBINATION COMPRISING A MOVABLE CONTROL MEMBER CONNECTED TO THE FLOW CONTROL MEANS, A PAWL RETAINING THE CONTROL MEMBER IN A FIRST PREDETERMINED POSITION, MEANS FOR RELEASING THE PAWL AT A PRESELECTED SETTING OF THE REGISTER INCLUDING A CAM DRIVEN BY THE REGISTER, A MOVABLE STOP FOR HOLDING THE CONTROL MEMBER IN A SECOND PREDETERMINED POSITION, AND A SECOND CAM DRIVEN BY THE REGISTER RETAINING THE STOP IN HOLDING POSITION, SAID SECOND CAM HAVING A PORTION OF ITS PERIPHERY ARRANGED TO RELEASE THE STOP FROM HOLDING POSITION AT PERIODIC INTERVALS DURING OPERATION THEREOF BY THE REGISTER.
