Abstract The invention relates to the technical field PRODUCTS - TRAVEL EFFECTS The construction relates to the need to have a transport case which can also be used as a temporary seat. This has been achieved by virtue of the fact that the longest side 4 of its base surface is considerably shorter than its height 5. This means that a person can sit on the case when it is standing on its base surface 15 without needing to bend the knees uncomfortably. The fact that the case is carried with its longest dimension 5 upright means that it represents a considerably smaller obstacle in tight spaces than bags which have hitherto been used. <IMAGE>
