Abstract

Abstract The invention concerns an impression spoon for obtaining dental impressions, which impression spoon comprises an essentially U-shaped base plate 1 with a base surface 4 bounded by inner 3 and outer 2 enclosure walls. In the base plate 1 a cover 15 is inserted, which cover has a bottom section 16 from which inner 18 and outer 17 walls rise, which at their upper ends are arranged to make contact with the upper sections of the enclosure walls 2, 3. Between the cover's bottom section 16 and the base plate's 1 base surface 4, channels 20a, 20b are formed to direct the cooling medium through the impression spoon. The impression spoon is suitably made of a plastic material. <IMAGE>
