Abstract

Abstract The method produces a partition wall in a room with walls, ceiling and floor, a continuous beam being fixed against the enclosing surfaces. Columns are mounted between the beam portions on floor and ceiling, and the intervening spaces are filled with panels of foam material covered by plates on both sides. Fireproof material is used for the beam sections (1,2,3) and can be in two layers (4,5) with mineral filling (6) between, the covering layers being at right angles to the surfaces to which they are fixed. The columns can be secured by U-shaped brackets to ceiling and floor.
