Abstract
Abstract Motor vehicle safety belt has a diagonal section anchored at one end to the floor and at the other near the roof. The connection between the diagonal section (2) and the roof anchor point (7) is formed by an adjustable intermediate belt (8), in which the diagonal section slides. Compared with existing designs, the advantage is that it can be easily adjusted so that the diagonal portion does not run in fron of the passenger's neck, even if he or she is very short.
