Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To make an unauthorized person unable to take out housed sheets by providing an input means which operates a means locking a cassette housing sheets on which images have been formed onto a main body part and a specified release means which releases the lock of the lock means. CONSTITUTION: The lock piece 190 which can prevent the taking out of a paper refeed cassette 150 is installed in the main body 131. This lock piece 190 is driven by a solenoid 191 and is saved from the traveling path of the paper refeed cassette 150 when the solenoid 191 is turned off. When the solenoid 191 is turned on, the lock piece 190 turns clockwise and goes into traveling path of the paper refeed cassette 150, locking the paper refeed cassette 150 into the main body 131. This lock mechanical is turned on by turning on the lock key of the solenoid 191 and turned off when an identification number is inputted through a ten-key of the copying machine. Thus the copying paper housed in the paper refeed cassette 150 can be taken out only by the authorized person. COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
