Control device for automatic transmission

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate the operation for adjusting the starting range of an engine by enabling an error to be allowable within a range satisfying the setting allowable range in the engine starting range of an inhibitor switch. CONSTITUTION:Denoting by (e) the starting range of an engine in correspondence to the position of the center of a shift pin 12, the starting range (e) is the range wherein both a reverse side setting allowable range (a) and an overstroke side setting allowable range (b) are added to an essential starting range (n) which is within the normal parking range TP in which shift operation is regulated by a main lock wall 221. The setting of this starting range (e) is carried out by making a reverse side reference position (c) and an overstroke side reference position (d), each of which is the half of respective setting allowable ranges (a) and (b), as a reference. Thus, to these reference positions (c) and (d), 1/2 of respective setting allowable ranges (a), (b) are given as a plus or minus allowable tolerance respectively.
