Connector insulating material
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain an insulating material excellent in mechanical strength, thermal stability, size stability and form stability with a high yield by constituting said material of oxynitride glass powder and thermoplastic polyester resin. CONSTITUTION:An insulating material consists of oxynitride glass powder and thermoplastic polyester resin. In order to obtain oxynitride glass powder, glass fibers having a fiber diameter of 3-150mum are crashed and at this time its grain diameter is desirably 3-40mum, and length of fiber powder is desirably 200mum-3mm, while blending quantity is desirably 40-60wt.% to the whole of a connector insulating material. Further, as resin to be used, thermoplastic polyester resin such as polybutylene telephtalate resin and polyethylene telephthalate resin can be selected. Thereby, the insulating material having no dispersion in quality and being excellent in heat resistance, insulation and strength can be obtained with a high yield.
