Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the adjustment at manufacture by forming a capacitor part required for the oscillation circuit on a piezoelectric substrate and adjusting the capacitor part so as to establish the oscillating condition while being mounted onto an external circuit. CONSTITUTION:An exciting electrode 2 having a diameter in response to a desired resonance frequency and electrodes 6, 7 prolonged from a lead pattern 5 clockwise and counter clockwise are formed to the center of the discoid piezoelectric substrate 1. Moreover, hart of electrodes 4, 6, 7 of the shape similar to, said electrode pattern rotated clockwise by 90 deg., electrodes 7', 6', 4' and an exciting electrode 2' opposed to each other while clipping the exciting electrode 2 onto the piezoelectric substrate 1 are provided on the opposed side. Terminals F, H, and G of crystal vibrator are connected to a base B, an emitter E and earth of the external circuit, and a laser, for example, is radiated to the electrode of a capacitor Cv in this state to adjust its capacitance thereby obtaining a desired oscillated frequency and the capacitor is mounted in the case and sealed.
