Silver halide photographic sensitive material
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the color reproducibility and the shelf-life of a raw titled material, by incorporating at least one of a specified coupler, a water soluble silver salt and a prescribed mol of a water soluble iridium salt per one mol of silver in the titled material. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide emulsion layer contg. a silver halide and a coupler on a supporting body contains at least one of the coupler shown by formula I and the water soluble silver salt and 10<-9>-10<-3> mol of the water soluble iridium salt per one mol of silver. In the formula, Z is a nonmetal atomic group necessary for forming a nitrogen contg. heterocyclic ring, a ring capable of forming by group Z may be substd., X is hydrogen atom or a group capable of releasing by reacting with the oxidant of a color developing main agent, R is hydrogen atom or a substituting group. Thus, the sensitivity of the titled material at the time of preservation in raw, without increasing a fogging, can be maintained.
